3 LAST MINUTE SPACES FOR OUR ELEPHANT & RHINO COURSE!!!13th to 19th of July 2025

Are you ready to step into the heart of Africa and experience wildlife conservation like never before? We’re thrilled to announce that 3 last-minute spaces have just opened up for our Elephant & Rhino Course, taking place from 13th to 19th of July 2025—and they won’t last long!

If you’ve ever dreamed of working alongside conservationists, learning up-close about two of Africa’s most iconic (and endangered) species, and immersing yourself in a real, hands-on field experience, this is your moment. Whether you’re a student, aspiring wildlife vet, photographer, or simply a nature enthusiast, this week-long course offers a rare and life-changing opportunity.

What’s the Elephant & Rhino Course?

This is not your typical wildlife safari. It’s a fully immersive conservation training experience, hosted by leading experts in the field at one of South Africa’s most respected private reserves. Across seven intensive days, participants will gain practical skills, ecological knowledge, and personal insight into the lives of elephants and rhinos in their natural habitat.

From morning tracking walks to field lectures, veterinary demonstrations, anti-poaching briefings, and close (but respectful) encounters with these giants, this course goes far beyond tourism. You’ll be part of a community of learners and conservationists united by one goal: protecting Africa’s most vulnerable species.

What You’ll Experience:

🐘 Elephant Behaviour & Ecology
Learn how elephants communicate, migrate, and interact with their environment. You’ll observe family groups, understand matriarchal structures, and study their role as keystone species. With guidance from experienced guides and elephant behaviorists, you’ll gain an entirely new appreciation for these intelligent, social creatures.

🦏 Rhino Conservation & Anti-Poaching Efforts
Rhinos are in a fight for survival—and this course shows you why. You’ll dive into the harsh realities of poaching and what’s being done on the ground to stop it. Witness real-time tracking methods, understand how horn-trimming and telemetry work, and speak directly with anti-poaching rangers about their experiences on the front lines.

🧪 Hands-On Learning
This course isn’t about sitting in a classroom. You’ll assist in fieldwork activities, from identifying spoor (animal tracks), monitoring individual animals, and learning about darting procedures (note: observation only for ethical reasons). Get introduced to wildlife monitoring technology and understand how data collection aids conservation decisions.

🌍 Field Ethics & Responsible Wildlife Tourism
Learn how to engage with wildlife ethically and how tourism can be a force for good. You’ll explore the line between helpful interaction and harmful interference, and what it means to truly respect wild animals.

🔥 Campfire Discussions & Conservation Talks
Each evening, the day ends around the fire with debrief sessions, storytelling, and open Q&A with the experts. This is your chance to go deeper—ask big questions, share your reflections, and absorb the wisdom of people dedicating their lives to wildlife protection.

Who Can Join?

These last 3 spaces are open to individuals aged 18+ who are passionate about wildlife, curious to learn, and physically able to participate in daily field activities. No prior experience is required—just an open mind, a respectful attitude, and a love for animals.

Whether you’re a university student looking for field credit, a mid-career adventurer seeking purpose, or a traveler who wants more than just a photo-op, this course is for you.

Why It Matters

Elephants and rhinos are facing extinction in many regions. Habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, and poaching continue to threaten their survival. Every course participant not only contributes directly to funding anti-poaching units and habitat restoration, but also becomes an ambassador for wildlife conservation.

By joining us, you’re not just learning—you’re taking action. And when you return home, you carry that knowledge forward, sparking awareness and change in your own circles.

Don’t Miss Out

Our wildlife courses sell out months in advance, but due to recent cancellations, we now have just 3 spots left for our July 13–19 session. These last-minute opportunities rarely come up—so if your heart is racing just thinking about it, take that as your sign.
